Private (Non‑NHS) Services

Our priority is always NHS care. From time to time, patients may ask us to complete private (non‑NHS) work such as letters, reports or certificates. These services are outside the NHS and therefore attract a private fee.
Please note:
• Private work is only undertaken if the doctor has capacity.
• Fees are payable in advance and are set in line with national private provider rates.
• Requests for private work may take several weeks to complete.
• We encourage patients to consider carefully if the work is necessary before making a request.
This policy helps ensure our NHS patients remain our top priority and that GP time is not diverted from essential care.
